M S Christensen

Initial landing page for mschristensen.com
I really enjoy this personal website for a Denmark-based digital designer named Morten Stig Christensen. It's simple, clean, and very professional. It also flows very nicely from one page to another. There aren't any abrupt white flashes as you navigate from page to page and wait for content to load. Instead, there are very simple transition animations and loading indicators.

Stanley Tools 2014 Brand Re-Design

It's a bit old now, but in 2014, this redesign of the Stanley brand of tools was a much needed modernization and face lift for the company. The diagonal in the N is carried over into the packaging for almost every tool, with even some of the tools themselves getting a fresh look. It's always really interesting to see an established brand getting a more modernized look.

Jelena Drobac Personal Branding

In my research for the personal branding assignment, I came across this page in a book called The Secret Life of Logos: Behind the Design of 80 Great Logos. The designer, Jelena Drobac, explains her process from start to finish of how she arrived at her final logo, and includes the logo designs she did on the way there. Seeing into her own process helped me open up my brain a bit more and come up with some additional ideas. I would highly recommend this book.
